TextSelector XL for HomeServer

TextSelectorXL for is a HomeServer logic that let’s you select one of the 25 input texts. You can select which text is one the output by entering the number on Input1 (I1). Very handy when using Push Notifications, displays or other Texts!
This Logic (13657) is an extensions/update to logic ‘Text selector (17775)’ which comes with the standard Experte/Homeserver software.

Use cases

Use it as a Status Selector, have ‘Success’, ‘Faulty’, ‘Warning’, ‘Failed’, ‘Critical’, ‘Alert’ on Input 1-6 and select which one should be on the output.
Have a Message of the Day. Set 25 nice messages on the inputs (static) and have a random number (or day number logic) on Input1. Now you always have a nice message of the day on the display near your bed 🙂
Use it a a Mülltonne (Garbage can) logic, you probably have multiple garbage cans which all have a nice name like ‘Green / Vegatables’ or ‘Black – Rest’. Combine it with some logic in which you select the day the garbage can is collected and write this name to a display or Push notification</li

Tip: You can statically define texts on the input, but also get them from another logic, Webrequest or JSON. Whatever your case is, this free module is always very handy!
